Reverend Stuart Smith
Stuart has been the Rector of St Clement’s since 2000. He is married to Jo and they have two grown up children and now an adventurous dog called ‘Bonnie’. Stuart oversees the teaching and pastoral direction of St Clement’s, as well as the overall management of the church. He is a prolific reader, especially of history and biographies. Stuart has a keen interest in art, and when he has time off, you’ll find him tending to his garden.
Reverend Andy Bleach
Andy looks after our 10am congregation, offering teaching, training and pastoral care. He also teaches scripture at Mosman Public School. Andy is married to Tam and they have four children.
‘I’m grateful to God for his grace in Jesus Christ, that offers salvation to all, and teaches us to live godly lives in this present age, while we wait for Jesus to return’ (Titus 2:11-14)
Reverend Bec Baines
Bec oversees the children’s and youth ministry at St Clements. She looks after Sunday kids church and Friday kids club – Transformers. Bec also runs the Friday Night Youth group for high schoolers. Through these ministries, Bec aims to help families to raise their children and youth to love Jesus and trust in his promises. She is passionate about training up the next generation to know and love God.
Bec also coordinates and teaches scripture at Mosman Public School, runs three lunchtime groups at Queenwood School for Girls, and runs a Bible Study for the young adult women in the church.
In Bec’s spare time, she loves to go to the gym and spend time with friends.
Trainee Children’s worker
Sophie has joined the team as a trainee children’s worker in 2019. She loves teaching and enjoys helping children to discover that God loves them through Bible stories, songs, craft, and play.
Sophie is studying education at ACU. She also plays bass guitar and sings at our 5:30pm service.
Play group Facilitator
Anna runs and coordinates our Wednesday and Thursday morning playgroups. In the past, Anna used to be on staff as a full time children’s minister before having a family of her own. She also has training and plenty of experience in early childhood education and she loves seeing kids learn through play.
